World-Class Committees & Yale Students:

At Yale Model United Nations Latin America, we are dedicated to providing a world-class academic experience that equips delegates to navigate the complexities of international diplomacy. Our conference prioritizes academic rigor through comprehensive topic guides, structured delegate training, and dynamic debate sessions designed to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

Our Committee Directors—Yale students with diverse majors and class years—have both subject matter experience and a passion for teaching. They undergo extensive training to ensure each committee is highly interactive and engaging. We strive to create an environment where delegates of all experience levels can strengthen their negotiation, public speaking, and leadership abilities. By combining deep expertise with innovative approaches to debate, our committees challenge delegates to push boundaries and deliver an intellectually stimulating, truly rewarding experience for every participant.

Engaging and Inspiring Speakers:

At YMUN Latin America, we believe that meaningful learning happens both inside and outside the committee room. Diplomacy is not only a simulation; it is a lived experience shaped by the voices, histories, and challenges of real communities. To deepen this understanding, our conference brings together an inspiring range of speakers, including regional leaders, policy practitioners, scholars, and advocates who work directly on issues impacting Latin America and the wider world.

Through keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, and engaging discussions, delegates gain insight into diplomacy, governance, human rights, economic development, and the unique political landscapes of the region. These sessions are crafted to broaden perspectives, spark critical conversations, and empower students to connect global issues with local realities. Our goal is to equip delegates with the knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to become the next generation of changemakers shaping Latin America and the world.

An Unforgettable Weekend!

We know that you are high school students, and that this experience, while educational at its core, is meant to be one that you treasure and deeply enjoy. We will be offering you plenty of opportunities to mingle with other delegates and meet students from all around the world!
