SECRETARY-GENERAL
Gabriella tejada
Gabby is a junior from Long Island. NY majoring in Political Science and Latin American Studies with certificates in Spanish and Education Studies. On campus, she serves as an officer of outreach for Yale’s Women of Color Advancing Peace and Security (WCAPS) chapter, a library IT student worker, and a dancer for Yale’s Baile Folklórico group. She also LOVES anything MUN. She has served on YMUN 51, 52, Brasil, and LATAM II and III, and will also be chairing for YMUN 53 this January. Outside of her campus activities, you can find Gabby dancing bachata, baking with her friends, or watching rom-coms. Gabby is beyond ecstatic for this year’s iteration of YMUN LATAM!

Christopher Johnson
DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF OPERATIONS
Christopher is a sophomore in Trumbull College, and he is super excited to serve as your Director-General of Operations for YMUN LATAM! He is from Barrington, Rhode Island and is studying Global Affairs and History at Yale. Outside of YMUN LATAM, he serves on other YMUN Secretariats such as YMUN Europe and YMUN 53. He also writes for the Yale Review of International Studies, is a Senator on the Yale College Council, and does legal aid work for asylum seekers in New Haven. In his free time, he enjoys going on bike rides with friends, practicing piano, playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and working on his LEGO collection (huge LEGO Star Wars fan!). Christopher is super excited to help bring YMUN LATAM to life and looks forward to working with delegates and advisors!

DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF COMMITTEES
hannah engel
Hannah is a sophomore in Franklin majoring in Global Affairs with a certificate in Human Rights from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. On campus, she serves as the Director General of Operations for SECSY, and USG of Crisis committees for YMUN LIII. In her first year, she served as the USG of Specialized and Crisis committees for YMUN Brasil I and LATAM III. Besides MUN, she also works as a Research Assistant at Jackson School’s Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going on walks, and baking. She is very excited to oversee all the committees this year for LATAM and can't wait to meet all of the delegates!
