At YMUN Latin America, you will discuss and engage with pressing global issues while exercising skills of diplomacy, collaboration and policy making. During the duration of the three-day conference, you will be challenged to think critically and engage deeply in analyzing global issues and also learn more about various other subjects taught at Yale. In our various committees, you'll dive into historical conflicts, explore how the world responds to humanitarian crises, and work together to find common ground on current global events.

There are no vaccination requirements from Yale Model United Nations Latin America for the conference, but you will be responsible for adhering to all vaccination requirements for travel to and within Mexico City and Mexico.

No, YMUN Latin America is committed to being an accessible conference that welcomes delegates of all educational backgrounds, which is why we are hosting a Spanish language YMUN committee. However, please note all other conference events will be conducted in English, so delegates must be able to understand and read English.

The registration fee does not include meals or transfers for conference participants. However, there are food options in the venue and you are welcome to order food delivery during lunch break.
